A special project of the Bill Reid Foundation
This project began with Diane providing all graphics and communications materials to the Bill Reid Foundation in support of their attempts to solicit sponsorship for foundation activities. With the success of the sponsorship campaign, the vision for the high profile Spirit Concert was realized.
The Spirit Concert – a music and dance event which included such performers as Bruce Cockburn, Guujaaw, Judith Forst, Rainbow Creek Dancers, Bach Choir, and the Vancouver Symphony was nationally broadcast by CBC television on its Opening Night series. Diane’s work not only contributed to the successful sponsorship and delivery of The Spirit Concert, but it also received recognition from the design community - Merit Award for Best Design Campaign.
With stakeholders as varied as the Haida Nation, a national broadcast organization, a wide range of performers, the Foundation board and corporate sponsors, the project exemplifies Diane’s success in managing and leading a high profile creative campaign that remains sensitive to the needs of a diverse group of interests. The project was provided with marketing consultation, public relations, and the design and implementation of the communication materials.
Campaigns/projects included: marketing and promotional strategies; sponsorship solicitation materials; brand identity; website and online promotion; print advertising campaigns; print collateral; national and regional publicity campaigns.
